30 And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the [a]East, and all the wisdom of Egypt.

31 For he was wiser than any man: yea, than were Ethan the Ezrahite, than Heman, than Chalcol, than Darda the sons of Mahol: and he was famous throughout all nations round about.

32 And Solomon spake three thousand [b]proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.
